What is Ubiquinol?
Ubiquinol is the reduced and active form of coenzyme Q10. CoQ10 is found in all cells of the body, with particularly high concentrations in the heart. Essential for the production of mitochondrial energy and functions as a powerful, fat-soluble, scavenger of free radicals.
Ubiquinol is also called the "vitamin of youth" or "support for the heart." Its most important useful property is its participation in oxidative reactions in the cells of the body. It ensures the normal flow of cellular respiration and energy exchange. Possessing strong antioxidant properties, Ubiquinol protects cell membranes from the effects of free radicals, thus rejuvenating the body, slowing down the aging process.
