Cre-alkaline is a relatively recently developed form of creatine, also known as "buffered creatine". Creatine alkaline has been shown to improve muscle absorption by causing fewer side effects than are obtained with the use of creatine monohydrate.

What is Cre-alkaline

Crealkaline is a softened creatine with a pH of 12-14 in a solution of water. Thus it does not require exercise or cycle and is absorbed in the muscles much better than creatine monohydrate.

Benefits of taking alkaline

Creatine is an amino acid found mainly in the muscles. He is best known for his ability to help muscles produce energy during heavy exercise. Creatine can be provided if your diet regularly contains red meat or seafood. The body converts creatine into phosphocreatine, then stores it in the muscles as a source of energy. This increase in energy is one of the main reasons for people to take oral creatine.

In heavy resistance workouts, cre-alkaline and creatine supplements further increase muscle strength, lean mass and morphology.

Creatine alkaline intake has the same benefits as creatine intake. They are mainly expressed in:

  • improvement in endurance in high-intensity exercise;
  • faster recovery of muscles after exercise;
  • injury prevention and injury rehabilitation;
  • it may also have neuroprotective effects. Although most of creatine is stored in skeletal muscle, there is also a significant amount of creatine in the brain that can help protect against neurological disorders and brain injuries;

There is a theory that creatine (even when taken in the form of cre-alkaline) can help control inflammation. It has not been conclusively proven.

Cre-alkaline or creatine

If we have to compare the two substances, here's what the comparison would look like:

Cramps in the stomach. Although a mild, common side effect of creatine intake is stomach cramps in the first few days of intake. According to studies, this is due to the low pH levels of creatine monohydrate. Cre-alkaline is designed so that consumption does not lead to stomach problems as the pH is balanced.

Better absorption. Scientific studies show that cre-alkaline can have a positive effect on the regulation of muscle protein. But in terms of strength, cre-alkaline produces similar results to creatine monohydrate.

Dosage of cre-alkaline

According to research, alkaline is harmless to healthy people if used for up to 30 g per day for 5 years. However, consuming small doses (up to 3 g per day) may provide additional benefits.

For the most effective increase in muscle creatine supplies beyond those of the typical diet, an initial intake of 5 grams taken four times daily for five to seven days is recommended.

Once your muscles are saturated with creatine, a maintenance dose of 3 to 5 grams per day is recommended, although more active athletes may need higher doses. Cre-alkaline does not lead to higher creatine retention than typical creatine monohydrate.

To get the full benefits of cre-alkaline, use tablets before training and immediately after training.

Side effects of taking alkaline

As it has already become clear, there are no side effects of taking alkaline.
